On January 26, 2016, News 1130 published an article titled titled, 'Stigma, shame preventing men with depression from getting help: study.' Written by John Ackermann, the article discussed findings from our recent study exploring stigma in male mental health.
This month Intensions Consulting and Men's Health Research published an important new article in the Community Mental Health Journal titled, 'Stigma in Male Depression and Suicide: A Canadian Sex Comparison Study'.
Co-authored by seven experts including Dr. John Oliffe, Professor of Nursing at the University of British Columbia, Dr. John Ogrodniczuk, Professor of Psychotherapy at the University of British Columbia, and Nick Black, Managing Partner at Intensions Consulting, the article explored findings from our recent Canadian study on adult beliefs concerning male depression and suicide.
On September 25, 2015, The Western Producer published an article titled, 'Campaign set to ignite Canadian exports.' Written by Barbara Duckworth, the article was based on findings from our recent Intensions Consulting study of beef consumers, producers and processors.
On April 23, 2015, The Western Producer published an article titled, 'Animal Care Standards High: Survey'. Written by Barbara Duckworth, the article was based on findings from a recent Intensions Consulting study of Alberta farm practices and how they impact consumer eating behaviour.
